What you'll do... 

  • Identify requirements, gaps and actual usage as we migrate features from our legacy system to a new platform
  • Conduct Impact Analysis and/or Gap Analysis on enhancements, new features and bug fixes
  • Create documentation of business processes, training procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with product managers, software engineers and quality analysts to deliver valuable solutions
  • Write user stories that clearly articulate requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Be the "go-to" person for questions from the support and development team and across the organization
  • Attend all required Scrum meetings (Sprint Planning, Product Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retro)
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure functionality requested is delivered as expected
  • Production Readiness: Primary representative for Product Management in long term and day-to-day activities related to the development, user acceptance testing and roll-out of the product/enhancement - escalating to Product Managers when necessary.
  • Create reports; research and analyze data and report trends and vital information for management/business partners.
  • Triage issues (defects/bugs) with the Product and QA team to ensure alignment with the defined requirements and providing responses to issues as well as keeping documentation up to date.
  • Manage open defects/bugs backlog and communicate updates with support team regarding delivery
  • Work with Product Managers to prioritize defects/bugs within backlog
  • Create presentations and conduct demos

What you'll bring... 

  • Experience 2-5 years as a Business Analyst or equivalent experience working in the SAAS-based software industry, preferably in agile environments
  • Initiative - Must be able to establish strong, collaborative relationships especially with product and development team members
  • Curiosity - Must have a passion to learn new things and solve challenging problems
  • Communication - Must be able to identify target audiences and create clear, concise and effective written and verbal communications
  • Passion - Advocacy for agile software development practices
  • Flexibility - Requires the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

Additional Considerations 

  • Familiarity with SQL, TFS and Salesforce
  • Some travel is required
