ArbiterSports is a fast paced agile software development environment looking for a team player with problem solving skills and attention to detail who is able to contribute to software quality assurance and development efforts in a fast-paced business. ArbiterSports has developed a complete suite of SaaS solution tools that allows athletic directors, assigners, coordinators, and officials easily manage all aspects of their responsibilities. Your internship will include the QA engineering and software development activities re: mobile apps, API's, online payments, large scale databases, high performance websites and complex technology.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Accurately complete manual regression of web applications according to written test case criteria.
  • Write automated test cases using Java and Selenium Web Driver according to written test case criteria.
  • Review requirements with engineers and other QA engineers for consistency and accuracy.
  • Read existing code and assist with the construction of new features across our SaaS solution using HTML5, ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, PHP and MySQL.
  • Understand customer business requirements and software application objectives, build schedules.
  • Deliver code at a high level of quality in fast paced sprints.


  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, or mathematics related fields.
  • 0-1 year software development experience or academic exposure in developing web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server and Entity Framework.
  • Academic exposure or experience with PHP, C#, Java, and API development.
  • Ability to adapt frequent work assignment changes while working across multiple disciplines that include coding, databases, testing and deployment.
  • Academic exposure or experience team planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Must be detail oriented, reliable and have the ability to work both in a team environment and alone with minimal direction and supervision.
